Prog labelled under minimal

Its probably been going on for a while now but ive only really just noticed and thought about it. A lot of the stuff coming out through Beatport etc these days is prog labelled under the minimal sections, sometimes tech house too. Bit of a shame as it makes things harder to find prog-wise, though i guess this minimal tag may just be being used to give artists more exposure maybe. Bit shit though as theres some cracking stuff around.

You gotta look man, that's all.

When I'm on a hunt for tunes on Beatport, I look through the following sections (Keep in mind im a tech-house/progish dj):

Electro House
Progressive House
House
Tech House
Minimal
Trance
Techno
Deep House

The labels are silly to rely on when it comes to Beatport, I mean they have Pryda - Armed labeled as Electro House, and to me that's not really the first genre that comes to mind when I hear that tune, but it could just be me.

very true. You can't rely on one or two stores to tell you what style a tune is, because often their opinion and the actual correct answer are very different. There's no easy way, if you value music highly enough, you find the time to search through it .

Beatport will just rename track genres according to the current buzzword to get more sales.

Prog is put under minimal.

Acid is put under tech house and electro.

Techno is put under tech house.

I feel like I can't find anything for this reason. You guys have any good "prog" examples you found in weird sections like minimal or house?
