LP - Minutes to Midnight

just bought the new linkin park album over the weekend, released on the 12th in Australia. its pretty good at least 5 or 6 good tracks on it.

anyone else bought it? what'd u guys think of it? just saw seen the music clip aswell, on their BLOG. some pretty messed up images being showed. since when did linkin park singing about important issues?

Sounds so emo like to me.

What made LP unique was hip hop and rock mixed together, most of the album is just chester singing and just yeah...

Heavily disappointed.

The album is ok for their style of alternative rock.. it definatley doesnt compare to their previous works which are alot better

but the big stumble i have with this album is that its 43:51 and costs $18.99.. whos gonna pay $20 for half a cd worth of music?

Well I stated that based on my opinion of the quality factor of this album, that it does not justify the cost especially based on its length I feel as people are getting ripped a bit, but I'm sure this album will still sell millions

I agree for the most part. Hybrid Theory was great, but I think it all goes a bit downhill from there (haven't heard the whole Reanimation album, tho.) MtM sounds like junk that's just meant to sell to me...

Course I guess it's all "meant to sell" on some level, but you know what I mean...

Okay, there aren't so much good tunes on this album when compared with the other ones, but that doesn't mean that Minutes to Midnight is shit... it's just not so good, but not mediocre.

yeah the album just takes some getting use to.
i think even if this album flops they will be bck hopefully louder with there next album
