TOTA Summer Cottage Get-A-Way

Since the winter get a way fell through.....I was wondering if there is any interest in a summer one?

You guys got a place, or a prospective one?

I can offer up my cottage as a possible spot.

I say, cool idea. Just not in June.

Everyone always wants to have it. The problem is that it's always hard to find a big enough one, and one that you won't get killed with noise complaints. Always super hard to find.

To the people who would want this to happen, and would go to it, help us, and start looking around!

im probably the worst person to help with the search, i haven't been out of the city often enough
i will help with other things once the place and dates are set

Yeah. The problem is we're trying to have a party in a cottage... Not many places that'd allow us to do that.

Barry and I pretty much have all the logistics part done from last cottage party plan (ie gear/sound setup, etc) but it's just a suitable location that's the problem.

Other ideas floating were a house party (a la Dan's 2-3 yrs ago) or a beach party. (again, problem with suitable location, plus additional cost renting generators and stuff)

So just tempted to grab a piece of forest and start partying

Given enough advance notice, at least a month, preferably 2 to give people time to plan, book off work, whatnot, there'll be enough interest.
