does anyone have any experience on separate vu meters? my mixer doesn't have vu meters for each channel, only the master output and it annoys me quite a bit sometimes. and the only mixer i'd want to change to is the xone:92 rotary which is way out of my price range. so what i've thought about doing is buying a separate vu meter and hook that up on my mixer's effect send.
only problem i have is that i can't really find any separate vu meters other than the omnitronic db-100.

there's two things i don't like about the omnitronic.
1. it's omnitronic
2. it's fucking huge (rackmount 19" and i don't have a rack or anything else where i could sink it in)

so are there any other options? i've tried googling this for many hours but no matter what i type in it always finds something i'm not looking for. and if anyone has any experience on the omnitronic i'd like to hear about that as well.

Go to wavemusic.com and look on the forums for what other people are using.

A bunch of the guys there have Urei-1620's they added VU meters to.
