The Thrillseekers feat. Aruna - Waiting Here For You
The new single by Steve Helstrip is here, finally! I must admit it's not as pumping or driving as the stuff he used to produce in the earlier years, but it's definitely ear candy nevertheless. You can hear a sample here:

You can also hear the full track featured as the record of the week on the latest TATW, which can be streamed from the bottom of the page at http://www.aboveandbeyond.nu/v2/welcome.php
Thoughts?
Sounds alright, but I'm not impressed. Not disappointed, either.
From his newer productions I liked By Your Side more than this one.
i think this track grows on you after a few times. I really love the bassline, its very G&D'ish, has that retro bassguitar feel.
And this tops By Your Side by far, IMO.
i heard it last time in above & beyond set, trance around the world.
i do like it generally, but its nothing world-new, it rather needs a surprising remix, a good remix.. it got a big potential to grow fat
it might be better when i hear it more often, cant say yet.
need an aly & fila remix

I love thrillseekers to bits, but man he does use cheese dick song names.
By your side, Waiting here for you, dreaming of you.
I think synetheasia and New life were the few titles that didnt sound like a flip and fill track.
But man can the guy write sick hooks.
New Life will prolly be one of my fav trancers forever.
I love the bassline.
as someone said it has potential.
A Sick remix might come soon =)
good track, nothing wrong with it
I like it. The first Nightmusic was very underrated and under appreciated IMO. Number 2 looks great.
I like this one, it reminds me of "Dreaming Of You". I like it that he is able to produce instrumental and vocal tracks but if you look at Helstrip's discography, 70 - 80% are instrumental. "By Your Side" was disappointing, and I just didn't like the vocals in that. "Dreaming Of You" was better, better than the awful vocal version of "Synaethesia". Looking forward to the Thrillseekers album, and I am going to pick up both Night Music CDs this summer. I should have bought "Night Music Volume 1" when it came out, but I have been reluctant lately to buy mixed CDs. The bassline is fine, but I don't think it's a bassline-driven type track, it's a melody-driven track with a nice bassline. But when the bassline comes in after the break, it's pretty awesome.
I quite liked the vocal of synetheasia. I think it worked well.
