ATB 'Trilogy' World Tour & Remix Contest @ Pacha - Friday, May 18th
ATB returns to Pacha New York on Friday, May 18th on his TRILOGY album world tour. On this, his seventh album ATB has succeeded in combining the two worlds, without intermingling them unnecessarily. TRILOGY provides the electronic and melodious ATB sound blended with a unique rock and pop crossover flavour on the first CD. The second CD, on the other hand, offers the listener 14 super smooth tracks. Every album should have its own soul and a golden thread leading through all the songs. However, you only really feel the soul if you listen to all the songs together. If you mix up the faster and slower songs, that isnt going to work, explains Andre.
With over 10 years of making music and DJing, Andre Tanneberger has created extraordinary, melodious club tracks and played countless DJ sets all over the globe. This German born DJ/producers second album release fully introduced the world to his talent with the international hit 9 P.M. (Till I come) which topped the charts and packed the clubs in the UK in 1999. He immediately followed this acclaimed track with mega hits like Dont Stop, Killer, Let U Go and Ecstasy. It is hits like these that propelled ATB into his current status as one of the worlds top DJs. He is consistently ranked in the upper echelon of the DJ scene, placing at #9 in 2005 and #13 last year in DJ Magazines Top 100 DJs Poll.
For his TRILOGY album world tour, ATB completed a tour in his native Germany, to be followed by shows in America, Asia, and across Europe and Australia.

wow this is my first time hearing about the remix contest. So lets say i get the parts to it, make my own remix and its pretty good....can I still send it to the lable after the fact? or am I just stuck with an unsigned remix?
i'm some of you producers have to know something about how this works.

| Originally posted by DJ Eco Well usually, in almost all cases, the remix contest is spear-headed by the label, so a "no" in the contest means a "no" from the label, unfortunately. As myself and most DJs do, we use our production (if it's good enough) as a promo track to give others to see what sounds we're coming up with nowadays. |
Yeah it is, since the tune being remixed, I'm sure, is signed exclusively to the label the original is on (so any remix would have to be on that label too, unless another label pays dearly for it, and has a huuuuuuuuuge remixer doing it that would make it worth it)... Good luck though!
