Labeling African Americans as "Less Educated Malt Liquor Drinkers?"
So....it's not true???
I saw that last night. It's a creative little ad. The funny part is that I think the tobacco companies have to pay for those ads.
Statistically, do more young black people smoke? I'm wondering why they took that angle.
i used to throw back a 40 of Old E like 3 times a week haha
my first real drinking experience was with Malt Liquor, Colt 45 I believe. I puked a lot that night.
"get ya' girl in the mood quicker/ get ya' jimmy thicker/
with st. ides malt liquor"
"the s-t crooked i d-e-to-the-s/ drink it and it'll put hair on ya' chest/so just sit back/and grab ya'self a six-pack"
ice cube's st. ides commercials were the best - that shit would so not fly today...
st. ides and king cobra were my joints back in h.s.; cisco and thunderbird were for the fast-acting drunkage...
balantine ale is good i still drink it today once in a while
Did I get this right: a number of well paid CIO's labeled "african americans" and then an anti-tabacco compony plays that in the ad to anger "african americans" to find tabacco camponies racist so that "african americans" would quit smoking?
i love this country.
im drinkin colt 45 right now haaaaaaaa
EWWWW! I cant even really drink beer much anymore. Vodka and tonic please
Back in the day tho....another story. Crazy Horse!
