Der Dritte Raum - Hale Bopp (new rmxs?)
any have ANY info on these new? remixes of the classic Der Dritte Raum - Hale Bopp?
from the 5-11-07 Digweed set:
Der Dritte Raum - Hale Bopp (Sebastien Leger Mix)
from the Orkidea Unity 10th Anniversary set:
Der Dritte Raum - Hale Bopp (Nick Warren & Starecase Remix)
are these new remixes? if so, any word on release? are they old and unreleased? I'd love to get my hands on them, for sure.
the nick warren and starecase one are from 98-99... never heard of the other one...probably unreleased.
Nick Warren & Starecase Remix is officially titled as Jackdaw Mix by Nick Warren & Starecase and was indeed released in 1999, on Additive.

Leger's remix is an unreleased one. For now anyway.
awesome, thanks guys!
the leger remix is fucking ridiculous. it's in one of the paolo mojo pieces sets and i have been craving it since i heard it a few months ago.
really hope that track gets a release at some point
There's also Roman Lieske Rework of this tune, which is very good. It's a bootleg, though

The Leger version is actually a remake rather than a remix. The fact it sounds the same is why people automatically associate it with the original.
Nothng beats the original.
It's my favourite track of all time

given, nothing lives up to the original, (well the raumgleitersversion is the one that does it for me), but given the tempo it doesn't exactly fit into all my sets, and maybe I'm just excited about that.
Lger's remix available on white label.

That white-label is a piece of shit. Purchase at your own risk.
Also, the "promo" copies floating around the internets right now are utter shit rips of the incredibly shit white-label.
Completely ftl - Legers edit is bomb.com
the original is awsome, id like to hear new mixes, especially by Sebastien Leger
Damn it, Jody played the Leger mix on his radio show a couple months ago - it is sick, IMO... hope we see a high quality digital release sometime soon.

dropped it last saturday... it goes down smooth
am happier with it now than i was... nice to play around 1230 ish i found... not the mega peak, but not opening stuff either.
Wasn't Paolo playing a mashup of the original + something (or just the original) around 2005?
He dropped it opening for Sasha @ Axis Boston in 05.
Anyways, I love the original.
Just leave it alone. Really.
It's a good track the way it is.
