Never thought we would have to...BAN LATINLOVER

LatinLover, formerly arnoldj is here just to fuck things up. Personally, I'm tired of it, especially when it's my thread that gets hi-jacked. He doesn't debate, just insults you, making vague arguements himself without any crediable sources. His debating is limited to name-calling and childishness. The PDD is no place for that.

This is also the same guy who fucked up the Florida forums as arnoldj. Possible ip address ban may be needed to sqealch this turd.

Well I was originally inclined to be fine and dandy with a warning only, but given his obvious track record in other forums I'm more inclined to a suspension now. This should not be the playground for banned clowns from other forums. He obviously has no interest in honest debating. Unfortunate.

Ban Krypton, because what he says "making vague arguements himself without any crediable sources" just means that he doesn't like his opinion.

I suggest to Ban Krypton, because he doesn't have any idea about what Democracy and Freedom Of Expression is.

It's not a some form of stupid goverment here. We don't have a voting system here.

Its just an international forum where everybody can express themself easily.

If one member doesn't want to accept another party point of view, it's solely his mental problem. He needs either go to a mental doctor or simply shoot himself. Counterparty doesn't have anything to do with it.

I say no Ban as well. If this Latinlover fellow can tone it down.. then no, he/she should not be banned. George is right.. ignore button works....
if no one acknowldges his posts, he will move on.....

i don't know if a ban is necessary, perhaps once he sheds his pimples, he could be a valuable contributer. could we restrict his posts to having to include hyperlinks to sources???

we're all entitled to make rants on occasion, he just needs to learn that rants need to wait until after the evidence is presented. claiming intellectual supremacy while displaying none doesn't present an argument.

I haven't seen him post anything worthwhile to any discussion. he uses Fox News tactics to argue. ignoring the question, attacking, posting useless facts.

I say give him a month trial to get his shit together. This is supposed to be an intellectual forum, if you can't behave then you don't deserve to stay. mmkay?

Am I unfair? Well, I've always been willing to hear the opinion of all users (including you). So, please come up with all the reasons why I'm "unfair", and I might fix that problem, if it exists.

As for Latin Love, he's been banned in the past for the exact same reasons (being somewhat passive-agressive), and I've already received many requests asking for his suspension.

No ban. It seems like the only person who can stand him is himself, so why not force add everyone here onto his ignore list? Then he can have those deep meaningful conversations he's blessed us with with himself. Or a header that preceeds every post he makes warning others that what they are about to read is likely retarded.

no ban. one of the reasons this board is turning to shit is because mods seem all to eager to close threads and suspend people. as mentioned above, the sensitive types can click the 'ignore user' button. this is hyper-sensitive metrosexuality run amock.

I think everybody is just saying no ban... no ban.. in this thread but actually voting for banning him.. cos when i voted my poll took 'no ban' to 8 votes already.. and 'ban' part was only 9-10..

I think Krypton just created a dosen fake accounts on TA and vote to ban him on each of them.

Your speculations don't account for the fact most people in the PDD want him banned. I'm fine ignoring him though.

It's not that I want to cut people off, but this particular person has been banned before from other forums for this exact reason. In the Florida Forum, we tolerated months of his hi-jacking and turning threads into flame fests, mostly against him.

Can you not already see that happening here? Threads go from the topic to Latinlover claiming 'intellectual supremecy' to Opus, then everyone just bickers. If you guys like that, then be my guest. I can ignore him, yes, but I'm not going to ignore the responses that we'll eventually have to read which have nothing to do with the thread.

This will repeat, as we in the Florida forum found out. We gave him a warning, did it work, no. He just got another name.
