damn call centers!

they suck! fucking punjabs answer with names like kevin or mary yet they have a total punjab voice that they struggle to sound like us! and then they ask you for your case number and you give it to them and then ask what the problem is! wtf. you asked for my case number why the fuck you asking me what the problem is!

So what, they're cheaper to employ than you, get over it.

in Miami they are all Jamaicans if that makes you feel better

It sucks big time.

i find it annoying that they use american names. just use your real name. shorten it or use a nickname if you'd like.

on the other hand, the other day i had to call HSBC bank in UK. Their processing center is located somewhere in scotland. everyone I spoke with had a really thick scottish accent and I couldn't understand a word they were saying. I was wishing they would transfer me to a call center in india.

at least like me other indians i am understanding better.

People need to stop putting the blame on India for this. They need to start complaining to their companies back home who are doing this as it is cheaper which equals to more profit for the MFR.

I had a call center job once. If some Indians want that job, they can have it.

oh believe me...i put complaints in for that shit. i cant stand it. i dont care what company you are its easiest to understand people from a similar area of the world as you.

and for the record i did work call centers. for 2years. its not that bad as long as you arent treated like shit by your employer.

Depends what you do in the call center though. I sold insurance...and hated it.

I worked in several call centres previously. It's hella fun.

did that 2 weeks, and quit. Some people in there were doing cancer surveys, actually calling cancer patients and asking them every medical detail, life expectancy, or if they bleed while taking a dump, etc.

not sure it could get any worse than working for a cable company..esepecially a small one. since the call center reps do EVERYTHING except the work the techs do when they go to the peoples houses. i enjoyed my job.

if there wasn't an opportunity created by the company you prefer to use, they wouldnt be there
