Almost by accident I did Bay to Breakers. Last night I decided to leave my car at the Embarcadero Center after dinner and walk to 1015, so I went back up there after j00f to get it when I saw a bunch of people in crazy costumes heading toward the start, I thought I'd go check out the scene there but I ended up following everyone straight into the race and figured it was a beautiful day for a nice walk across the city. It was a great time, such a quintessentially SF thing, just a bunch of cool people getting together to have a good time in the gorgeous city. Next year I'll be more prepared with some booze and pot. My favorite part was the pink "float" with the disco ball banging out house. (Think 8 hours was enough at 1015? Never!)
