Did I see an energon (sp?) cube? And I love how they kept intact the sound that they make when they transform (see Optimus transforming).

Some major changes in regards to what some the Autobots/Decepticons transform into, but keeping some of these minor things intact as noted above should keep fans happy. (Even have screentime for a "My Little Pony" toy - another Hasbro cash cow).

Im excited to see this.

pretty much the only thing that they kept as original in this movie.. i just hope its not another shitty Micheal Bay film.. our hope is Mr. Speilberg.

I agree! I'm so looking forward to this movie. The effects are simply outstanding. I hope the story will justify. The trailers are absolutely wicked to say the least.

oh i expected the hype. just didn't expect it to be so different from the original concept/cartoons. that's ok though, it was always going to be difficult with a live action feature.

same, but I'm willing to overlook this in the trailer that's posted here...Bumble bee looks WICKED. I think they were banking on this when they made the movie...methinks.

GM has exclusive rights to most of the characters in the movie, so bumblebee isn't a VW anymore he's a chevy camaro. Jazz = Pontiac Soltice, Ratchet = Hummer H2, Iron Hide=GMC Top Kick, I forgot the autobot's name who's a police car, cause he's a Ford Mustang.

Megatron is USAF prototype switch blade, starscream is an F-22 Raptor. Soundtrack (I think his name is ((the cassette))) is a helicopter.

Yeah can't wait for this movie.

Yeah I don't get how that works. But this movie should be awesome, with Spielberg and Bay running the show. Bay movies are always fun to watch (Bad Boys 2, Pearl Harbor, Armageddon, The Rock) so yeah it's gonna have great actions scenes. They already announce a trilogy for the Transformers series.
