Help finding "uplifting trance"

NOTE: Who ever keeps deleting this, send me a message why. I dont see any other threads that would fit this question. Thanks.

Hows it going everyone? Ok, so I have been trying to find some good techno in, at the start, all the genres. But I have narrowed my search down to something much more specific. I dont like just listening to the beats or anything because to me that seems to get somewhat repetitive (unless its really original). After asking for help in many different places someone told me the genre that I was looking for is called uplifting trance. If anyone knows any good songs that you think could fit in this category then please, refer them to me. Thanks everyone, I appreciate it.

NOTE: Who ever keeps deleting this, send me a message why. I dont see any other threads that would fit this question. Thanks.

Most stuff by Rank 1 , DuMonde, Svenson & Gielen, Blank & Jones, Aalto and so on is pretty "uplifting", but people have diferent views of what uplifting trance really is.

Look at the upper right corner of this page, there are three buttons, one of them has "search" written on it. Click!

listen up, ill try not to give you any cheese, but here is some stuff you might dig:

Jose Zamora &Damian DP- Transatlantic (Andy Moor Remix) [one of the most goergeous songs ever imo]

The Whiteroom- Someday (instrumental)

4strings- Sunrise

PvD- For and Angel (classic)

not exactly uplifting, more to the melodic side but they are deff goodies imo.

Michael Dow - Ascent <-- This song is simply amazing
Thomas Datt vs Robert Nickson - Tabla Mizma
Vincent De Moor - Mystique Colors
Kamil Polner - Heart Of sun
4 Strings - Mainline
Just to name a few...

excactly.

4 Strings - Main Line(album) anyone? Good they didn't turn prog/electro like the once-uplifting IVD did.

I prefer the term high energy trance these days. Genres are changing. High energy is an excellent term that separates the slower progressive genres from the faster more uplifting genres.

As for cheese.

For example DJ Sammy = Cheesy vocal trance
Cascada = Hands up style. --- Different genre.

Things are constantly changing. It's the one constant in the known universe.

Check out releases on labels such as Anjunabeats, Somatic Sense, Black Hole, In Trance We Trust, and A State of Trance.

Search for samples here:
www.beatport.com
www.audiojelly.com

Also, once you find an artist you like, look him/her/them up on www.discogs.com to see what aliases he/she/they record under. Doing this will introduce you to a lot of good tunes. Hope that helps. We all have to start somewhere.
