i think so but i was j/k.

don't worry summer classes are shorter and you get the same credits while they don't really cover the same amount of materials.

anyways i'm sure you'll still have time to party

not till August for me!

9 hours isn't as bad as people who have full course loads.

we cover the same material...

a 3 credit course meets 2ice a week for 1.5 hours during regular semester

a 3 credit course meets 2ice a week for 3 hours during summer semester :/

Don't worry man, I think I'm going to start taking up classes myself. Gonna go back for my MBA probably in August.

We talking 9 hrs a week or 9 hrs over the entire summer?

How much it sucks depends a lot on the classes. What are you taking?

No it doesnt. Regular sem is ~15 weeks (usually), summer is 6.

15*3 = 45 hrs during fall/spring
6*6 = 36 hrs during sum

This is why I'm taking a writing class during the summer. I hate writing

Disclaimer: This is not true for all classes. Some classes just cover the material faster and make up for less time while some do cover less.

philosophy monday - thrusday 8-10 AM

algebra monday - thursday 8-10 PM

Pretty much everyone I know who's in university takes summer classes. And they all have no lives. Enjoy!

I'm taking summer classes right now, as well. This is my second time taking summer courses. First time I took 9 credits during both summer sessions. That killed me.

9 credits in Japan (for first half of summer).

6 credits at my uni (for remainder of summer).

my summer is 8 weeks....

i have no idea how long my regular summer is... probably 16 or 17

Look at it this way: All that knowledge is going to expand your brain thus pushing your hair follicles THAT MUCH further out of your skull. Your afro will increase in girth at a much faster rate than if you were just chillaxing at home.

im taking 11 hours of classes this summer as well, it sucks, but by doing this I'm going to be able to graduate one year early from college.
