'Age has been redefined'

Mom at the age of 60

quote:
The psychologist who gave birth to twin boys at age 60 said Thursday she was on a mission to let women know they have choices.

"It's really basically about women and empowerment," Frieda Birnbaum told NBC's "Today" show.

Feminist bitch. Makes her newborns look like a bunch of guinea pigs. The parents will likely die or become incapacitated way before their kids hit 21. She has willfully ensured that the children will suffer pain in their teenage years. All for her bullshit cause.

true, i feel sorry for the kids, being left parentless before their life starts (life doesnt rly start til ur like 25-30 anyway when u realise its shit)

Imagine being 12 and having a 72-year-old mom, and probably never really knowing your grandparents.

Posted by Boomer187 on May-24-2007 16:10:

nobody cares about the parents these days!!!

Posted by tubularbills on May-24-2007 16:11:

also read this at work the other night.

yeah, i find it kinda selfish on her part for having a kid so late. i mean, she'll be 78 when they graduate high school. and to have twins?

oh, also, she made this decision....it wasn't like her and gramps were goin' at it and due to his senility, forgot to pull out. nono, this wasn't an accident, it was planned.

but yeah, those kids....it's going to be hard for them. my ma's father was 52 when she was born, and died 6 years later.

its kinda fucked

Great, women empowerment, cool. Nothing wrong with that. However, there's a time and a place for everything and that certainly isn't the time to have kids. She may be able to provide for one or two years, but financial stability will be very tough as will the ability to successfully care for her children. Such an idiot move.

If that's true, then my life started when I was 17.

Nah...I was just trying to be politically correct and not say the obvious. But Boomer just didn't let it go.

Posted by Frenchie on May-24-2007 16:50:

This is wrong, and for the ones who think it's, "quite alright...", It's not. It's not like she WON'T have the money all old people are rich, duh jk. To go and have kids past 40 really isn't healthy, sure tons of women do it but it's not recommended and I agree.

should be more like old people empowerment. Everyone always sides with the damn kids these days. Look at this thread, you kid craving loonies. they will prolly grow up to be murderers and pick pockets, or even....carnies!!! so I say, let these respectful adults of the world do as they please, even if it is a minor inconvenience to a kid. hell they are young, they are resilient, they will get through it.

but in all reality I am sure their 28 yr old daughter and 6 year old son will help in those teenage years. Plus people are regularly living into and past their 80's....especially psychologist

as far as women empowerment, I don't even know wtf that is cept that you old world neanderthals better get with the times

Posted by SuspicionVandit on May-24-2007 16:56:

and then she dies and the kids have to live with Uncle Bobby and the carnival

Man, I know psychologists live past 80 and all. But after decades of listening to schizophrenics and clinically depressed, not to mention the occasional sad panda cave man, their brains must be turning into a jello pudding of some sort

And I am sure you can learn a thing or two about women empowerment from Taleban. They will tell you in detail, what it is not
