For years ive been using Winamp but of late it hasn't been performing as i want it to due to the volume of mp3s i am loading into it.
Do any of you guys use any other players similar to it that might even be better?

Try using Winamp Lite, if you're not already.

What is it that you don't like about foobar? (just curious..)
Personally, I'm not a fan of iTunes (and I don't have an iPod anyway) or the 'media library' type applications. I more or less have it all sorted on my hard drive, so I just pick from there.

I tried using Wiamp and the time it's not busy crashing, it's doing something else wrong. I just use Windows media player, never had a problem with it.

my order is Winamp (very easy to use) > Foobar2000(if you spend time customizing it, wow, it'll look fucking awesome) > iTunes (able to organize music through folders as well as playlist)

there foobar looking pretty (and doing as UNintended and using more memory than all the other media players)
The problem is the way Winamp/Foobar enters the filename of the tracks on my playlist. I am using torents now and i am downloading alot of albums.
I have them saved to My Music like this for example...
10 Years - 2005 - The Autumn Effect (Folder Title)
Then inside the folder i have the tracks laid out like this...
01 - Waking Up
02 - Fault Line
When i enqueue all the albums into Winamp/Foobar they come up like this...
0225. 10 Years - 2005 - The Autumn Effect - 01 - [The Autumn Effect #01] Waking Up
And sometimes it doesnt even bring up the artist or album it will just come up as '01 - Waking Up' etc etc
Some are even worse with all strange characters in them.
I want it to come up just as i have saved it in My Music. Is this possible?
Hope you understand that!
