Chicane - Come Tomorrow

New single Come Tomorrow is available on chicanemusic.com in the Music>Videos section.

At least its less formulaic and just a better pop song than Stoned In Love and Love On The Run.

I just wish he wouldnt use the Chicane brand name for this crap.

I actually like it a bit.

I can see commercials whoring it out already, though.

Oddly, this sounds more like something U2 would have made. It's still good though, somehow I like it.
That it's many times better than "Love on the run" or "Stoned in love" is out of question ^^

The Video sucks though, it has the typical EDM - video stereotypes. And the mailman with the short blond hair looks like Gunter from Friends

Honestly, it's much better than I thought it would be. I only heard the live clip previously and it sounded quite awful, but this isn't bad really.

Ooh, I quite like that actually. It should sound even better on the album.

I don't like it at all ..he should find back to trance emotion
the thing he became famous for...offshore/red skies/saltwater

2 new tracks available. "you are always" and "Time of your life". You are always has some pretty bad vocals, times of your life reminds me of the old Chicane though.

Edit: Come tomorrow video is whack.

I love this tune, it's perfect. The vocals and the lyrics are really emotive, fuckin brilliant. It feels like a little bit of The Verve and a little bit of something else. Who is the singer?

8/10

'Time Of Your Life' sounded gorgeous.

'You Are Always' would sound better without the vocals

and 'Come Tomorrow' was just 'meh' for me.

I really like Come Tomorrow, despite its obvious aim as a "top 40" song.

Both songs off the new album sounds promising so far, especialy Time of Your Life.

And it appears he is doing live shows once again... this hasn't been happening for some time right?

I am starting to get excited about this album!

I didn't care for "You Are Always" so much, but I did like the other two. I'm just generally excited for a new release from him.

The singer of "Come Tomorrow" sounds a LOT like Richard Ashcroft!

I think that the video was really good, while pretty disturbing You dont see too much of videos with a deeper meaning nowadays..

Deeper Meaning? oO

Do you mean the people that are getting the Chicane Track via Mail and are listening to it and then freak out (this part somehow reminded me of the Vengaboys - Up & Down Video ) or the cliche girls dancing with each other in bikinis?

naah I was more thinking about that i-pod'ish thing they plugged to their forehead to escape reality only to mess up their life in the real world (ketchup on the floor, ugly fat dude falling into the bathtub etc.)

Im not saying that the video was very deep & very zen but still I think it definatelly had a meaning and not many of todays music videos can claim that.

For me video was not that good

Lyrics are good and overall i would give it 5/10

Maybe it starts growing on me once i listen it from the original cd

Listening to this right now, im really liking it, looking forward to the cicada and soul seekerz mixes

Posted by neoraver on May-30-2007 07:49:

dunno what's worse, the original or the remixes

Posted by Sanjoy on May-30-2007 12:19:

ohh..! -what is the name of the song where the vocals in "you are always" are taken from? I have heard it soooo many times, especially at work, but I have never caught the name..

Posted by NoisyNeil on May-30-2007 13:28:

i actually quite enjoy it i'll just accept that chicane chose to go a different path (which doesn't necessarily has to be a bad thing though!) and spin the classic chicane tunes

I like the Soul Seekerz Dirty Dub.

Eurgh, that's nawt but a cheap knock-off of Ashley Beedle's remix of Bent - Always.

Quite lackluster from Chicane. Very dissapointing. Bordering on absolute garbage.

Original Mix 4/10
SoulSeekers Vocal Mix 2/10
Cicada Mix 6/10
