4am - The Real May Promo

finally got ableton running smoothly and i recorded a random mix a week ago and posted it in the cor as a may promo but didn't mean it seriously, so here's my second attempt. completely different mood/genres, but w/e, i like going all over the place

i love the songs you put in here, but mixing them all is a biotch. just keep watching your levels and phrasing, like after the wall song, the levels got low on the wall then you faded in the next track and kicked in the bass a few bars too early. might have went a lil better with leaving the wall loud, then cutting out the bass at the last cymbol crash and cutting in the new bass line there. Although i think its hard in abletr0n ifn you use the mouse to move the levels...


also since most transitions are fairly quick, you might try cutting out more of the intro of the songs, gets to the juicy part quicker, which kinda fits in with quick transitions.


but great track selection

hah thanks dude, i agree with everything you said
also a few of the mixes didn't work well because i don't have the entire song
brindavan i only have the first 3 minutes of, shark food is a set rip so if i let it play any longer some other song comes in full force, and generally i'm still struggling
also i really need to find my mouse and set some hotkeys, doing all this with a touchpad's a pain in the ass
