no more lasers at the guv??

just wondering after the renovations took place and the pictures i have seen so far did the guv get rid of their lasers in the main room??

More than likely.. they have until then before they are supposedly officially done renos. Their laser system is HUGE and probably takes weeks to set back up, so that is probably why it's not back up and running thus far. There is no way they would get rid of it completely, it just wouldn't make sense. Their light show would be terrible without them.

How about we all go the the dollar store before we go, so there's like 100 TAs there with keychain laser pointers.

We'd do a better lightshow than Lighshow can.

Usually the lasers start at midnight - 1ish and basically stays on the whole night.

And that white smoke cooling stuff? lol It's Liquid Nitrogen, they don't use it as much as they did when they just got it. They sprayed it a few times last night.

I'll agree with the people who say that Guv isn't the same without the lasers and that cannon. IMO, that's what makes it stand out from everything else - I'll ALWAYS remember those crazy lightshows and the nitrogen blasting during Trance builds. That IS Guv to me. There are clubs in TO that are fine without any lasers, but Guv isn't one of them.

haha, I love that idea!

Does anyone know if they are bringing back the infamous guv horn?! I miss that as much as the lasers.

Yeah when it went off for the first time last night, people were yelling and cheering it was awesome, and you can see Charles Khabouth in the booth telling them to spray more
