Damn, that's pretty ridiculous. As the guy on rhythmism said, these people are just trying to have fun and go to a dance party. I suppose the EDM culture is easily targeted by fundamentalist groups with all of the drinking, drugs, sex, and DJ worship. You guys remember that threat against SF London a month or two ago? That was a similar situation. But I don't think that they're going to do anything to Tiesto, and even if they try, the guy has super powers, so he'll be fine!

sorry to say this, but you clearly don't understand what these crazy terrorists are trying to do. As said in a previous post, a nightclub and the lifestyle is an apposite target for the goals of these people. They want to have an islamic state with islamic laws which will not allow western excesses, including alcohol, drugs, etc... What better target than a nightclub and the man bringing about those illicit pleasures.

With that said, i definitely agree with you on torture, even though i claim to be a democrat.

I would definitely see no fault if he decided not to play. Shakira, who is herself of lebanses descent, cancelled a lebanese concert because of specific threats against her.

i agree to not give into them over here or in europe, but who gives a shit about giving into them in the middle east. Let them suppress their own people. Tiesto standing up to terrorist for the sake of the lebanese people is stupid, and in reality it would have little to no impact.
