Matthew Dear- Asa Breed

New Matthew Dear drops June 5th I believe, but I just picked up an early copy @ DEMF

Really really fucking good. Different than his other work, a bit more vocal but some great vibes on the disc and classic quality unique production

The single 'Deserter' is fantastic as well

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Theres really some seriously unique ideas on here. He definitley has matured his sound, and I dont wanna sound like a fucking fan boy, (even though I think its too late) but this is really cool and I can see taking him into a way larger scene than just the confinements of the underground. Which is good and bad I suppose- but well deserved.

That being said, it's nice to have a GOOD dance album because I have not been impressed latley~

I've heard Deserter and it's ace. The Four Tet remix of it is also great.
