really awesome sets tonight. First time seeing crystal method live. I was really impressive

however, it was a major buzz kill getting all the way to van nuys and realizing that i forgot to close out my tab. Driving back sucked. Plus the Vanguard bouncers were being dickheads about letting me back in to close my tab....other than that inconvenience, the night was great.

THE CRYSTAL METHOD WERE COMPLETELY FLAWLESS! We were at the front for the last half of the set too. Best breaks set ever (besides Uberzone).

However (and yes this is the rant about the event...wah wah wahhhhh)

Adam Freeland was not impressive. In fact I don't know why his name is on top of the Crystal Method on the flyer (ok, to promote the GU32 CD I guess).

Also, why was **I** kicked off of the pole when this chick was teaching me how to pole dance? We were doing this for like 10 minutes and I was clearly good at it (she even told me so). Then this asshole security guard said to me "only chicks on this you have to get off." I was like "dude that's gender inequalities" and he was like "no man, the thing is men way more and you'll throw the thing off balance." I bought the bait but then was like wait...so I weigh less than this fat chick next to me but she can pole dance cuz she's got vazheen? I think he was just afraid I was gonna steal all the chicks. What an ass. Boo for covert sexual inequalities.

And that's my rant. Overall, greatest braks EVER from Crystal Method, and lame excuse from security guards for being ass bandits.
