Anyone frequent Vanguard?
I've been there a couple times and liked...no no no, fuckin LOVED the music both times. My problem is I'm new to the LA EDM scene and don't really know anyone. So uh er....any TAs oft the Vanguard? And what goes on there on a Thursday and Friday?

yeah the vanguard is awesome. i probably don't go there as often as i should but this is gonna be one hell of a summer i can't miss 
nothing interesting going on thurs and fri....giant saturdays are where its at 
tons of us go there almost every saturday! just keep an eye out on these boards for roll calls and flyers etc and you'll see who goes and then can meet up with us!!! looking forward to meeting you 
Ya, but it depends what DJ is playing on Saturday nights. Sometimes Avalon is good, sometimes Vangaurd is good. For example, this Saturday, it's gonna be all about Avalon (Richie Hawtin, Marco Corola, Magda, and Droog).
What kind of music are you more into? Trance? House? Techno? Or do you like it all?
Vangaurd is hip hop on Friday nights (I think), euwwww!! But there are other good things on Friday nights, like Compression & Basic @ King King.

My boyfriend and I will be going to the Vanguard next Saturday, June 9th. We will be finishing up a west coast vacation there, flying home to Toronto the next day!
Would be nice to meet some west coast TAs....

just wondering...is there gonna be a list for this event? not like it matters for me cuz i already bought a ticket (wanna make sure i get in) but for other ppl that might be coming with me?

Damn, these all sound like good events. Wish I could go to them all but I rarely get weekends off from work. Might have to start off Friday though and see Thrillseekers?
So hey, if I buy presale tix for Vanguard this Sat and get there around 11pm, will there be a long ass line I have to wait in?

Drinks are expensive, so I recommend going to the bartender at the main bar nearest the door that leads to the hallway/bathrooms. He'll fawk you up!

Is it just me or did you all pay 30$ for parking last week at the Michael Mayer show on Vine? Ridiculous. Is there a way around this? Like a secret 5 dollar parking structure a block away? LET ME KNOW! :P bucke, sign up for Fei-fei's list! It's the usual 15$ before 1130pm
