mixers.. some will say pioneer djm600
some will say allen & heath 64, some will say rane

but i say VESTAX..

they have quality mixers and the price is not that expensive
i mean i know allen & heath is the best mixer there is

but it is DAMN EXPENSIVE
so for ppl that cannot offord it
GO WITH THE VESTAX PCV - 275

if ur gonna scratch AND mix...

for turntables, u might want to consider the Vestax if ur gonna be scratching. Technics are still good though... but the arm will still jump around once in a while. As for the whole S vs STR8 arm argument, just ignore it. The wear on records is minimal. It depends on how you angle the carts on the STR8 arm.

for mixers, avoid the PCV275. It has no curve, so it's not a good mixer to work with.

I'd recommend these:
Rane TTM52, 54, or 56
Ecler Smac Pro 30 or 40
Vestax PMC05 or 07
A&H Xone 32

Rane TTM52: 400$
54: ~550$
56: ~700$

Ecler Smac Pro 30: $379
40: $500$

Vestax PMC05: 399$
PMC07: ~700$

A&H Xone 32: ~750$

so as you can see, the more ur willing to spend, the higher the quality of the mixer is. All prices are US and are averaged, and those are about 2 weeks old as i'm writing these prices off the top of my head when I was doing research on Scratch/Mix mixers. If you shop around you most likely will be able to find cheaper prices than the ones I wrote down.
