Hawtin and Magda tonight!

hawtin tore the roof off last time he spun with jeff mills... and that tron setup was so sick. what a fun night that was =]
wish i could go, but going to need to pass on this
aww that's a shame. nobody else is gonna be there?
I'll be there later in the night =)
hopefully I'll get to catch some of Magda's set

magda was a bit too minimal and repetitive for me until her last hour when she started to pick it up. hawtin was dope, but what fool only booked him for an hour (3-4am)????!?!
really? you mean he had just got on when I got there at 3am?
I was like at least I get to catch the last hour of his set following by the first one I suppose

he played a really awesome set
I ended up staying longer than I wanted to, because track after track was so freakin good; a lot of other industry house heads had the same feelings too and these are people who don't often listen to breaks
I almost went up to him and said damn quick dropping such amazing tracks I need to go
it was good a balanced mix of that nuskool breaks sound, techno and electro
i was surprised to see dirtyhertz in attendance and even a group of my junglehead buddies were there. the crowd was awesome, lots of sexy breezies up in the house
hawtin only played 1 hour? wtf?
1hr?
good thing i didnt go because that was a pricey ticket
Hawtin played almost 3 hours, I dunno wtf you people are smoking. I got there just in time for the last hour of Magda's set, and she was banging it so I guess I got the good part of her set. She switched out with Hawtin at about 1:20 and he played until the end.
this was one of the best parties I've ever been to in my life. The music was incredible the whole time I was there, great crowd that was really into the music, awesome visual effects (I LOVED whatever it was they did that lit up the walls looking like it was a bunch of stars), I have no complaints whatsoever except that I wish it had kept going until Noon.

imo the music didn't start getting good until right before last call
last call is at what, 1:30? That's right around when Hawtin started playing, and yeah he was just insane. Magda was good, and a good warmup, but man Hawtin just knows how to destroy a place.
