Originally posted by FunkyCrew his back looked fine to me I have scoliosis too, and it's nothing, unless the angle at which the spine is curved is very large so his story is nothing major, IMO

Originally posted by SuperJimbo Lisa, to answer your question, he moved on to the choreography round but did not go any further. Shane Spark did, however, offer to try to get him a spot in an upcoming movie he is working on. A minor part, not a major one, in case you were wondering.

Originally posted by SuperJimbo Sorry, I am not appraised of the severity of his medical condition, nor do i have access to his genome so that I may better understand why he is 4 feet tall. Let's agree that it's a mildly interesting story and that he has some serious dance moves. OK?

It was a pretty impressive story this kid had. Although millions of people have scoliosis (i'm a massage therapist and i'd say 70% of my clients have one to some degree whether postural in nature or structural), many of them live normal lives where their ability to function is not impaired. Sadly this kid's is so severe that it has both stunted his growth and made him unable to make even some of the simplest anatomical movements that we all take for granted. (ie arm abduction or lifting your arm out to the side) Not to mention the chronic pain he is likely suffering from. So even though there is NO way he'd make it in this competition, I think its great that he got a chance to showcase both his talent and inspiring story!
* FYI even if the curvature is small and function does not appear to be impaired at a young age (ie up to 30's) give it another 20 yrs and you might get some idea of the pain this kid is in.
