Law and Order VS. Crime Scene Investigation

Law and Order has been out for, what, close to 20 years now, and CSI is relatively new. which do you prefer?

It can be any spin off shows as well (i.e. SVU, Criminal Intent; or CSI: Miami, NY)

i still prefer Law and Order. SVU is really a great show.

Well, you can do it tastefully or you can do it in a bad way. The last episode I watched was where they were in a bank and they had a tsunami come barreling down towards them and they hopped in the safe for safety. The special effects were terrible, plus the acting and I dunno... just everything about it makes it seem so... bleh.

CSI Miami is so terribly cheesy, but that's part of what makes it fun. It's like watching snakes on a plane over and over again. Law and Order doesn't have that redeeming quality.

I don't care much for that kind of show. I just find em kind of boring for the most part. I've seen a few episodes that were good, but they usually involved something really out of the ordinary. Because honestly, there's only so much you can do with the "oh man, somebody got killed, now we get to try and nail the bad guy for it" cliche.

I mean, if I'm going to watch something that's fictional anyway, I just think it should be a little more fantastic and less realistic because it's just more interesting when it presents you with something totally new and different than what you're used to dealing with in "real life."

Turns out that's about 6 and a half minutes.

Law & Order absolutely destroys CSI - how this is even a question is a mystery to me.

law and order: all iterations are fucking great. and lots of hot women. poppy montgomery, mariska hargitay, and theres one more i dont know her name though.
