HappyHappy My latest fad

so i may be a few months behind on this but this morn i stumbled over www.jumpcut.com and have been hooked....simple and fun...

quote:

Video is easier with Jumpcut

If creating a video and publishing it to the web seems like a challenge, we think you'll find that Jumpcut makes it easy and fun. If you've been wondering what to do with the video you shoot with your snazzy new camera (or your phone), Jumpcut is the perfect place for you to be creative. If video isn't your thing just yet and you just want to make cool slideshows with your pictures, Jumpcut is still the best place.

Finally, a free online location where you can use all your media, create great looking movies and publish to anyone you choose. There's nothing else like it.

Community

Because everything is online, as soon as you sign in to Jumpcut, you'll instantly be part of an online creative community. This means you can look through all of the media that other people have made public and grab anything to use in your own movie. If you choose, you can share any of your stuff with the community as well. If you missed the shot of The Big Moment, chances are, someone else got it, so the more people that join the community and share their stuff, the better it gets for everyone. Think of the fun you could have making a movie with a group of friends, or even a group of people you've never met, but share an interest with. Imagine coming home from a concert and having everyone's footage to make your own music video with! This kind of creative collaboration is unique to Jumpcut.

Remixing

Most likely, you've seen the big "Remix" button by now. Remixing is another feature unique to Jumpcut. Basically, Remixing is creating your own version of someone else's movie, usually incorporating elements from the original, and adding more content or maybe just some of your own style and spicy goodness. It's an easy way to get started, and you can do it with the click of a button on any published movie. When you click "Remix", we'll pull back the curtain and show you what's behind the scenes. Then you can get busy being creative. Don't worry, you're not destroying someone else's work, you're just making your own copy. And if yours is better than the original, so be it. The community will tell you.

Easy Feature-Rich Editing

Whether you're familiar with other video editing tools or not, you'll find Jumpcut's online editor very easy to use and full of all the features you need. We've built our editor for the beginner with guidance from the professionals. You can easily add and arrange content in your movie by dragging and dropping thumbnails, select the best parts of your video clips, change duration for your images, add your music or sound effects, choose transitions, add titles, cool effects etc. etc. And you don't need to download anything, it's all online.

Instant Publishing

Publishing to the world (or just your friends) is a snap, so easy that you'll make it a habit. As soon as you're done, just press Publish, enter your audience's email addresses, press send and you're done. They'll get a simple link in their email. If you choose to make your movie public, it will be available for viewing, commenting and remixing on the Jumpcut.com site. That's a great way to get famous. If you have your own website, blog or profile page on another site, you can either post a link to your movie or embed your movies anywhere that lets you enter html. We give you the three lines of code to copy and paste. In all cases, any time you update your movie on Jumpcut, your audience will see your changes instantly, without you having to do anything.

We know you'll have fun using Jumpcut and we're committed to making this the best place on the web for you to express yourself. Along the way, we hope we can teach you how to become a better moviemaker.

We're looking forward to seeing your movies!

Oh. I heard music. Maybe there is something wrong with me. I guess I had winamp on or something. That's probably where the sound came from. Sorry, Lima. My mistake.

I like ice cream. I like raspberry frozen yogurt the best though. What about you???

Pretty neat actually, trying to bring video editing to the common man.

I am glad that first girl in the video pursued this particular line of work. She is good at looking pretty
