carpel tunnel..

anyone have it? i think i am getting it as over the past 2 years my wrist has started to hurt progressively more often. its still not super often but since november it has happened twice now.

try to get away from using the mouse so much and use the keyboard...it usually helps alot.

in general i try to as i prefer scolling through pages a lot better with the keyboard but i still use the mouse a lot. thanks for the tip though.

Good point. Try not to think too deeply about, or the repercussions of saying something that may be funny, or else it loses it's humourous edge.

Dunno if it's the same problem, but too much typing over an extended period usually results in a bad pain in my right wrist. It sucks. I had this problem when I was using a desktop. After I switched to my laptop, the pain stopped. I don't use a mouse on my laptop and I guess the way you position your hands while typing on a laptop keyboard is different from that of a desktop keyboard. Either way, I don't have this pain anymore. But I easily use my laptop 12-16 hours every day. So I'm guessing, the relief is only temporary.

Jeeez. That's a loooong time spent on a computer, what do you do?

As is true with many people here, I require a computer to do all my work. So most of the time, the computer usage is work related. The rest is usually spent browsing TA and in general surfing around the web and watching movies.

i've never been able to watch movies on the computer.

I usually watch them on my laptop. Otherwise I connect my laptop to the TV and watch them on TV.

my dad had it, got his tendon removed or wtvr and everything is fine now.. i think it was cheap too to get the surgury.
