Tiesto in CT, holy crap

I cannot imagine who Bora is connected with, or who he's paying off, to be setting up gigs this big in CT of all places.

I believe they did it last year also w/ KAI opening. Love how the flyer says first 500 tickets $40 then gradually higher lol. Im sure tiesto lets a lower fee slide for states like CT where the market is smaller vs. nyc where he receives 50k for 1 performance.

Re: Tiesto in CT, holy crap

if arizona can get big names, ct should also.

boramusic books plenty of big names @ room960 so this isn't all that surprising, although it is tiesto's first time in ct.

Why thanks. The double entendre was intentional.

I think Tiesto is on a quest to trainwreck in all 50 states. Lookout Alaska!

arizona:connecticut you can't comapre the two states. parts of arizona specifically have a party culture to it. now colorado:connecticut might be a more appropriate comparison

Wooohooo!! Finnaly some supperstar dj in CT.. btw. I think he came to Alchemy in 2001, too

Wow, took me a while to hold it in. While I love and Bora and give him many props I'm kind of disspapointed with some things... I'm not sure I can let everyone know now although being in CT it's kind of obvious. Don't get me wrong though I'll def. be there for the day.

Oakenfold spun in CT a few times at his peak, including a Halloween party at the Oakdale in '02. But this is probably the biggest trance name to spin there since then. Just on the name alone, it'll probably bring out a bigger crowd than what usually goes to 960, bringing in people from MA, Providence, etc. Even my friend Chris (upstate) and I were thinking about this - it is an outdoors gig. Wouldn't be surpised if Randy Boyer (EnMass) gets the opening slot.

AZ was the first western state i thought of, it had less to do with arizona specifically, and more to do with the population of arizona.

"downtown Hartford outdoors" ? so where exactly is it being held ? i've only been to room 960. i'm not familiar with Hartford at all.

Good god, the website is terrifying. It's got that annoying voiceover guy from all the european shows...
Tiesto In Hartford

OMG, how melodramatic.

"He did what only others could dream. His Ambition Only Grew", which is why he is playing outdoors in Hartford! YES, TIESTO!

I'm sorry Bora, not trying to knock this, but this is way over the top.

Same day as holden and underworld?? I always forget days, but if not.......I'm actually considering always wanted to see tiesto live even though the chances of dissapointment are 90%a and above. I wont be expecting nothing if I go though just for the hell of it, he better play traffiiiiiiiiic.

You can't really blame Bora for this. It's Primetime's work. In fact, I don't think this is the guy from the european shows, but Paul Morris...talk about low budget.
