Where has all the love gone for Sean Miller?

He is playing this Saturday at a small club in dowtown Toronto, and NOBODY is talking about it, let alone getting pumped for it (like they used to during the good ol' Boa/Sonic days). I am curious as to the reason(s) why this may be...

Theory #1: Perhaps fat bastard stole his mojo.

Not really. I assume this is by choice.

Lots of bigger name DJs than Sean have played at small clubs and sometimes those are the best nights.

For example, the most fun I ever had at one of your sets was at Bebe last summer. Madness.

now I'm no promoter or anything.. but maybe people don't know about it because of a lack of promotion? it's not listed in the upcoming events forum here. then again, maybe they didn't intend to promote the event on TA, and who's to say it won't still be rammed if that is the case. There are a fuck load of people in Toronto that aren't on TA and don't rely on similar message boards to dictate where they spend their nights.

so where is this happening anyways?

Agreed, lack of promotion, which may be on purpose give the small size of the club. You don't want to many people showing up or you will end up pissing off a lot of people who wanted to see him.

It is at 577 King Street, whatever or wherever that is (?). Listing has been up for over 3 weeks...

Agree that TA is not a place where most people look. I guess I was just commenting on the relative drop in interest in Sean on TA, compared to 6 or 12 months ago....
