should i do this

http://travelshop.telegraph.co.uk/v...ern-lights-.htm

it's something I wanna see, would this be worthwhile ?

"In search of the Northern Lights"

Tiestos new series?

How worth it is it to do this? As in how often can you do it.

Posted by Sushipunk on Jun-08-2007 23:53:

Tough one. What if you fly up there and don't see anything? Or do they only take you up if they know you can see them?

Posted by Project-K on Jun-08-2007 23:54:

that expensive and you're not even garanteed to see one?

Posted by Sunsnail on Jun-08-2007 23:56:

lol at tricia first

but yeah, it's 80% chance, and they mainly go mid-late november only each year. It's the kinda thing I really wanna see, but I'm unsure if it's worth the cash. If i went & saw it, I'd be totally stoked, if I didn't, I'd cut sunsnail's head open & feast on membrane

Do it. I've seen the Northern Lights from a plane crossing the Atlantic and it's breath taking. I'm sure it's even more amazing in person. Plus 150 quid isn't THAT much is it?

Posted by Ian on Jun-09-2007 00:42:

not when I can get people to pay it for my birthday Now I need to persuade my brother to come with me, and buy me a better digicam

Posted by leph555 on Jun-09-2007 00:43:

That looks awesome!

You should definetly go and if you do not get to see one, hijack the plane!

Posted by Ian on Jun-09-2007 00:46:

Presuming we fly north, 90 minutes each way would pretty much get us towards iceland which should be far enough to get a view. It's just the kinda thing I really like. This couple kept giving me weird looks when we flew over portugal one sunset cos the sun was setting out of their window so i just kinda gorped at it for half an hour at least.

Alaska in general would be amazing i think to see. if you get to see the northern lights on top of it, that's just an additional plus. i'd love to go to alaska someday

Posted by THE_Chris on Jun-09-2007 12:59:
