Are the interviewers over there only allowed to ask certain questions? I've not read one interview from that site that didn't sound like another. I gained nothing new about Sean from reading that then any other interview done about him or any other artist that has ever been interviewed from that site.

TranceSound.net Interview with Sean Tyas:
Can you give us some history on how you became the one and only Sean Tyas?
I think I just never gave up, I have been doing this foe about 7 years, very seriously only for the last 4 or so. Been through a few rough patches that all people in music always go through, like when realizing that this dream may just not be possible or may just be wishful thinking, butI didn't really care. I just loved making this music and seeing people dance to it in a club.
What would you call your style and taste in music?
It's trance. Pure and simple. The word trance has been subdivided, whored, and perverted, but I think at the end of the game, this is really the trance that I fell in love with and it this point I'm finally really happy with the music I am making, because it is what I have always wanted to make.
Do you listen to other styles of music besides EDM?
Sadly not really, but apart from hip hop, all always listen to and try to appreciate other styles for what they are worth. Sometimes you get great ideas from a totally non-related style!
Who are some artists that you would like to work with in the future?
One guy that has consistently shown what a great person he is and just a great producer would have to be Armin. Now that's the first time I've given this answer in an interview, I just thought about that this past week. Previously I have answer Thomas Bronzwaer or John O'Callaghan to the same question, but working with Armin would be inteersting to me because we both approach production differently enough to have a very inteersting result, but think similarly enough that we should get on quite well in the studio.
What are some of your favorite places to travel?
I think Australia would have to be among my new loves. Although last time there I was only there for 3 nights, I fell in love with it. Other places include UK, Scotland, and Ireland. I always just look forward to those trips because I have made a ton of really close friends there, and we always have such a great time.
What would you consider your greatest accomplishment of all time, whether it is in music or another part of your life?
Winning the Sander van Doorn "Punk'd" remix contest. That felt great and a true honor, because it was out of over 250 entries. Really was just absolutely shocked to get the winning notification from the label.
How do you feel about the crowd's response to 'Drop'?
It's actually heartwarming. Following up the response of "Lift" actually seemed really daunting. But after the first time I got to play it at Gatecrasher in Sheffield, I was thrilled to see how well it's been going over.
Can you tell us anything regarding your deal with Armada?
Everything I do under Armada, will be under Sean Tyas present Logistic, so its clear which label it will be under. The guys at Armada are always very on top of communication and are just all around great people to deal with, so I'm really happy to be working with them now as well.
Can you tell us about your experience performing at A State of Trance Episode 300?
That was just nuts. I mean, we all went there expecting a massive 4000 person party as it was, but nothing really prepped me for the turnout it had. Armin had to even get on the radio to apologize to people and tell them to stop coming, as it was already over capacity which I'm guessing was somewhere between 7-9 thousand. Unreal. Just to look out over the crowd and see the sea of hands after the buildups. That's just the icing on the cake.
Is there any information that you can share about your history or latest projects with John Askew and what you guys are currently working on?
Basically I do want to try some vocal projects, so they are underway. I want to really be involved in the entire lyric writing process as well, to get the experience there that I need.
What do you think is going to separate you from all other new acts coming out?
Don't really know, I guess it's that, at the heart of it all, I still would rather be on the dancefloor than in the dj booth.
What is one of the hardest adjustments you have to make once you are looking forward to finish a track?
The arrangement. Arranging songs is usually to me, the most time consuming.
Right now there are many acts coming out and at times fans seemed to get overwhelmed with music. Do you think it will be hard to introduce yourself to an already over populated market?
It's always been like this, at least for the last few years. I guess it's always been hard, but for anyone who is persistent, it will happen.
With that said, new groups, artists, producers and DJ's are here today and gone tomorrow. How do you plan on making your work sticking around for a while?
Thinking about learning how to do Live PA. That would be a lot of fun. But the problem with that is, I think once you start doing that, that's all you will do from then on. So really debating it.
As a producer and a DJ what is one thing that you look for in an aspiring artist?
Attitude. I think thats everything these days.. So many great producers around now, and a good attitude is what makes someone really standout.
In conclusion is there anything that you would like to share with your fans as well as the members of our site?
Just an absolutely HUGE thank you to everyone for listening to my tunes and remixes, and coming to the shows. It's surreal, to say the least, and you've all been just way too good to me.

I had some really funky mixes back in my day, I do think I still have them!!.... I remember when he would sit and listen for hours!! at some of the early EDM stuff and how it grabbed him!...Even if I was not his Uncle, I love Seans style and all his works...His music got me through some very rough times, and well, the same goes for Ryan!, these guys are like brothers to me!! These guys have great talent!, and both will go far in the biz..... just dont let Sean play any sports..thanks for allowing me to "re-live" my early party days!!
