Question Clever spam or??

Once every year i create a topic on this section!.

But seriously. Anyone else experienced this?

Few days ago i check my hotmail. The usuall spam got deleted but there was this one that was really funny.

My name is Wendy i am 24/F/USAwould you like to chat? Email me back ill be online all dayWendy

And i had a sarcastic mood. So what the hell, i replied like a true gentlemen.. Picture's please.

But the unexpected came.. A freaking huge reply with pictures.

Hi my new friendIm glad to see that you have decided to reply,I see it is very short letter. It is all right because you are astonished to get my letter.I want you to know that I have only good intentions and I have not any secrets. The thing is that I will work in your country for three months or so andI would like to meet a nice man to fall in love or just be closest friends. I don't want to live in Russia because I have not any chances here,it is hardly possible to explain from first time but I want you to know my plans.I will work in any shop, bar or restaurant the agency that i am going through will suggest me some locations. It will be my choice in the end as to what option to go for.So I will have a simple work till I improve my English. And I can choose anytown of your area, agency will only help me to get a visa and all travel documents + some suggested placed to work in.My best friend last year met the man from the USA when she worked there for three months, too. She had two jobs. From morning till 4 pm she worked in amusement park and after it she worked as a waitress in some bar till midnight. She was very tired of course but made very good money there. It is special programm for young people who wants to work abroad and I think it is the right way for me ,I am lost here, and I think that I look pretty enough to find a better place .I want to repeat the same way,it isonly my chance to meet a nice man.I want to work in USA or in Europe or anynice country. I am full of plans and different dreams and I want to share mylife with good man because I'm also full of love and tenderness,I know thatI am not so beautiful like Hollywood Princess but I do hope to meet my Prince andI am sure he will be not be disappoined to meet me in the real life! This is why I am going to go through the same way.Well,I will close this letter and I do hope to get your reply.I will leave russia in two weeks or so (I can't tell you everything exactlyright now) and I would like tobe sure that I have the man who waits for me there. I will work all day and I want to find a man to spend all free timetogether to get to know each other better.if you have any interest to meet me I will be more than happy to meet you too.I will tell you all details about me and my life if you like my pictures andwant to meet me! please send picture of you too!!!I write to you with my new mailbox [email protected], please writeletters now only on this mailbox.I will wait your next letter. Kiss you (rather keep the name annon)

So after this one, i replied with few questions. Why do you think am your prince? Why my email? Who the hell gave you my email anyway.

It seems some agency in russia doing this :S

But anyway no need to post the second long reply since it's just another life story. But who experienced this before ?

The pictures are nice btw, could be just stolen from some model site.

Usually Spam mails ask you to reply to (or CC) an e-mail address. This allows them to confirm your e-mail is a real address and the user is someone susceptible to reading spam or falling for simple internet scams. Your e-mail will then be added to the database of confirmed address which spammers share amongst each other, often for a great deal of money.

I think this is a long-winded scam. After a couple of emails they'll hit you for money. This is the bait:

My guess is that the whole idea behind meeting a man is so she can establish residency via marriage or something like that.

EDIT:

While this visa is issued as a single entry visa, should the intending spouse return to her country within the 90 days and seek to return again to the U.S. for the purpose of marriage the Embassy may issue a second visa document.

From Wiki. Maybe that's what she is doing?

she cant be doing that shitty... nice pic of her in a nice bikini on a nice beach, and she can afford a cat as a pet rather than stealing sumones elses for food.

and shes russian and has a tan, and has nice clothes... so yeah bollocks, she appears to have a better life than me.

Do you know what's worse than posting your spam e-mails on TA? Well for one: replying to your spam e-mails, and then posting about it on TA.

i would be very leery.

as someone else mentioned, she doesn't seem to be doing too bad, yet she appears to be quite desperate.

if you bring her into your life, you bring all of her problems with too.

hypothetical worst case scenario (or one of them);
you come home to a russian mafia guy that is upset you stole one of his whores.

i just hit rock bottom and i need to feed my family. if you are planning to commit suicide, have a terminal disease or being hunted by yakuza, please e-mail me back with your social security number so i can sell it. please, my daughter is sick with smallpox and i don't want her to die. If you are a privacy freak, i have been reading Surgery For Dummies, so I'd be glad to take your liver/heart/brain to the black market. You are doing this for a good cause. Please don't report me.

It should be fairly obvious that natural deduction is not an algorithmic procedure. Steps in a deduction require use of previous lines and valid argument-forms: but the procedure does not tell us which ones to pick; so rather than the steps being purely mechanical. we have to rely on our own logical insight as to how to proceed. Sometimes we will choose wisely; sometimes unwisely. If we manage to produce a deduction from
premises to conclusion then this establishes validity. However, regardless of how much effort has been put into it, failure to produce a deduction does not establish invalidity: perhaps the argument-form is invalid; but perhaps it is valid and we simply lacked the ingenuity to produce an appropriate deduction.

you know the junk mail you get via post office? those form letters that say the same shit, but w/ different from addresses on? (you're approved for a 1.9% credit card, etc....).

its the same thing. just instead of a form letter, it's horribly writte spam. you could have replied saying, "OMGYOURAFUCKFACE" and you would have gotten the same reply back.

just an automated message.
