Help me pick a camera plz
My old point & shoot camera broke, so now I'm looking for a new one..
I'll use it primarily during my travels in the near future, so size does matter. I've narrowed my choices to 2 cameras, namely Canon SD750 and Canon S3 IS. The obvious choice is the SD750, since I can just put it in my pocket and off I go. However the S3 IS has 12X zoom, and that pretty awesome (I think?), and it runs on normal AA batteries, so if my rechargeable die, I can just pick some in any store. Size-wise, I'll need to buy a special case, or pants with bigger pockets.
And the S3 IS is on sale now (100$ off) since S5 IS, the new model, comes out in couple of days.
Ugh.

2. Canon S3 IS

anyone stores sell cameraphones with at least 2.0MP but for under $200?

Val you should invest in a very nice one like D70 or a canon rebel.
Can someone hook me up with tickets for Sander K next week?

Does anyone have an extra floor ticket for daft punk?
oh, and off-topic:
If you're going for a point and shoot, the whole point seems to be that it fits in your pocket, so definitely go for the SD750.
I have a DSLR but i end up using my gf's sony more often for said reason... With a tiny vs clunky camera, you end up deciding; am I going out somewhere where I might wanna take pictures, or am I going out to take pictures?

Just picked up the A710 IS, sort of a compromise between the other two.
7MP, 6x Optical Zoom, 2AA batteries, Optical IS, manual controls, etc. Not too bulky, fits in a pocket, good grip. Oh and has the ability to take RAW pics with an unofficial firmware update.
