Mac Emulator - Any Ideas

Anyone use a Mac emulator for a windows platform?

I need something similar to Microsoft's virtual machine. I need to be able to mount an OSX DvD image and build a virtual Mac.

Any ideas on this.

Go search for OSX86 Project. Ported OSX For x86.

Might have to do some torrent digging

if i remember correctly you can boot off the disk on a pc. it has been a while since i have messed aroudn with this though. i know its quite easy to get it on a pc though. there are dvd images that are patched to bypass the hardware checks.

There was an emulator project a while ago called PearPC or something like that (some fruit name), but that may be for PowerPC OSX.

There was a commercial offering that ripped off the GPL'd code of the project mentioned above called CherryOS or something.

I'd try to find a native OSX version first.

the one that ripped off was yes the CherryOS which was based off of PearPC which is now dead.
