***Schizophrenic Tunes??***

Realized while listening to Dj Tiesto - In My Memory and thought about how the song goes from very uplifting to tragic and back to uplifting in a matter of seconds.

Another song that I noted to do the same was Southern Sun, it is also quite two-faced. Starts out quite sad and melancholy, and then gets euphoric in the chorus.

I absolutely love that element in a song, when it does a complete 180 in emotion, back and forth.

Can anyone think of more?

(I don't know WHERE THE HELL this synth came from, but i like it!)

(it's just another repetitive techno tune, but then gets a awesome synth...nice surprise!!)

Solar Stone - Seven Cities (V-One's Living Cities Mix)
(is it chill-out, or is it uplifting?)

Sin�ad O'Connor- Troy (Push Remix)
(just when you think the song sucks...push comes through)

Sonorous - Second Sun (Mirco de Govia Remix)
(very nice ultra chill, then gets a little beefier.)

Yahel - Intellegent Life / Voyage / Going Up / Liquid Paradise / For the People
(Yahel always turns the tides, and surprises)

Airwave - Save me and King of Clubs - Revelation (Airwave remix) both have some great parts in the middle with some heavy dark synths, that are very different from the rest of the tunes.

And I agree with many of davinox's choices. I love Sunblind when it goes all crazy

Just gave this a listen again today, and have to completely agree, I love when there is the silcence for about 3 seconds, and then this monstah jumps you...great choon all around.

What about Rank 1 - Such is Life? starts off very bangin, then drops off into that nice synth, then picks back up where it left off.

nice and melodic at the start... then cuts sick halfway thru and becomes an entirely different song

YEAH thats what i was thinking of. Its quite slow and dark, with that vocal, then suddenly, in comes the breakdown and the clioimax, and its all happy again!
