sidechain basslines
oh yeah!
feedback or die!
Interesting track.
I like the bass guitar in the break. I would say that this is house music though.
Percussion is a little flat.
Cheers
Nem
thanks!
BTW its my first real track that I produced!
intro = catchy, workable for mixin
bassline nice, but i feel i need to hear some pure bass UNDER that...to make it sound fuller... nice lead that's fuckin with you, but i'd make it more varied
nice synthy line coming through... man, you have almost everything sidechained, haha!
percs indeed needs work!
and the meldoy can use variation imo..
made it with Reason no?
nice track, but as usual, keep pushing your sound!
100% with ableton live, vst plugins, and my bass guitar!
thx for the comments, will work on the percussions
can you guys explain more on the percussions
where it needs fixing, etc...
feedback or die lol
ok you asked for things to improve first of the kick doesnt seem to have a lot of punch and sub-bass I would definitely fix that...
that synth you bring in later...the very digital one...is a bit too high so you might want to do a gentle lowpass on that one...so its not as ear-piercing...it would make you die in a club ...
also your bass guitar needs a DI box so you dont have so much noise on your recording...or was that intended?
otherwise you have good sense for rythm, structure and everything you need to make better music...now go read a bunch of tutorials, search through the production forum...or just learn by trial and error and you'll be doing pretty good tracks in a short time...hoping to see more by you
