Price Hike?
Is it just me, or are there more and more tracks on beatport for sale at $2.49 instead of $1.49, lately.
Kinda sucks, esp. if you're buying WAVs... it comes out to $3.50 a track (and that not even including exchange rates!)
Damn it...
Hmm, didn't even notice that.
Be aware of re-releases... check the full list.
I was about to buy a track for $1.99 the other day, then realised there was a release from a year previous for $1.49
Yea, i saw that also. They charge $2.50 for new releases. I buy wavs too, so it's $3.50 for me. Beatport is not the only one, Trackitdown also charges $3.44 per wave file. Still beats vinyl price though. But at least with vinyl its more fun to DJ and the record is still worth something after you buy it.

Goddamn re-releasing the same song on beatport is fucking redundant.
vonyc is proving to be the cheapest for buying wav's but you have to be patient. Euro1.29 and you download a 192 VBR file right away, a week later they mail you a link to the wav file.
not the greatest selection, truly awful site to work with and takes a while, but it's cheap.
In the first year Beatport had many tracks for ony 0.99
and the expensive ones were 1.49
At http://Traxsource.com they have even higher prices, like promos at 3.99
These stores add hundreds, sometimes thousands of old/new tracks every week, but most of them are just the same old thing so I'm having a hard time finding something worth buying at any price.
