Playing trance in a tech house/electro/techno set

What results has anyone who's done this yet gotten?
Some good trance tracks now and I'd like to work some into my sets which are mainly tech house and electro.

Tracks like
Marco V- Possible, But Unlikely
Albert Vorne- Formentera What (Gareth Emery Mix)

I wish this was done more.

The earlier Ministry Of Sound compilations used to do this all the time, before they went shit. For example:

http://www.discogs.com/release/211174

That one is pretty recent actually, but they don't do it anymore.

CD 2 starts off with M Factor and Groove Armada, then ends with Ferry Corsten and Oakenfold! No one would dare do that today!

If it sounds good, then go for it.

Definately can be done, however it's best to have a mix with more tracks to slowly raise the BPM from Mid 120's to Trance in the Mid 130's-140 BPM range.

im thinking more of slowing down the trance tracks to fit instead of building up into a trance run.
so stuff 135bpm and slower
