Young amature singer vs. Andrea Bocelli

Obviously the people that run this show dont know what boundaries are... and the line is at Andrea... no young singer should go through this. I mean, Im sure the kid enjoyed every second being on stage with him, but this song is FAR FAR beyond any amature singer.

This is my little spin off from the 'songs that give you chills' thread.

Nothing can ruin the song for me, but damn when I found this, I felt bad for the kid - like how do you ask someone to perform this? Especially with Andrea.

I'm not a big fan of Bocelli, and I think his voice is pretty ill-fitted to that particular piece, anyway, but there are just so many things wrong with the way that kid does it, that it's unbelievable (accent, annunciation, his total lack of any vibrato whatsoever, accentuation, and, you know, that whole HITTING THE RIGHT FUCKING NOTES part)

Had a heart attack how? The guy was fuckin awesome... before he started singing, Simon was like "oh fuck, not another one", once he heard the first note get belted out, he couldnt believe his ears. And the chick, SHE looked like she was gonna have a heart attack, the guy blew her away.

This is a new show in Britain happening now, Paul is in the finals with some entertainer guy... the final show is on the 17th of June.
