Wow I am actually getting to like this thing, It would fit perfectly with my Vestax mixer.
eh, good price, but not impressed overall. Vestax mixers are top-notch, but this product seems to be on the lower end for CD decks.
Well I think its perfect for a beginning Dj.

its under $299 on djdeals whch is rpetty good, and im sure it canbe found chepaer
has anyone tried playing with one?
stan, I got my CDX-05s off of DJDeals a little over a year ago (last March). I think they were the same price or a little more, great deal though. Some people have had problems there but I didn't have any trouble, got a Vestax VMC-004 mixer there too.
CDXs are really good for beginner decks, pitch bend buttons help with learning to beatmatch. The only thing is the pitch increment is +/- 0.1 and it can be hard to smoothly mix particular tracks. This doesn't happen to me too often but when it does I have to really ride the pitch. I wish they had more accurate pitch control but for entry-level decks, they're solid. Scratch capability and effects are pretty cool too if you're into that.

hm.. if they're .1 increment
maybe id be better off with pio cdj-100s, which are lower in price also .1 but have less features (no looping,no sampler)

Well you can get cdj 200's from agiprodj for about 350$ shipped, so its a 50$ price difference.
I'll admit, they look rather solid (as in better than the Stantons, Numarks, Geminis, Technics, and even Denons), but for roughly the same price I'd go for the Pioneers any day. I've futzed around on a fair amount of cdjs and none of them compare to Pioneer.

SEXAY!!!!
haha, thanks, I think they look good together...what decks do you have right now?
well right now i have no decks
Im a little confused, so are they more expensive or less expensive than the CDJ 200's? And I was wondering if any of you know the track he is playing?
how's the VMC004 worked out for you? are the fader curves smooth?
i'm thinking about picking one up.
the CDX is cheaper than the cdj 200 by 50$.
Im loving the Vestax VMC-004, its the best that you can get for the price!
Yeah, the VMC-004 is awesome, I don't think I'll upgrade my mixer for quite some time. You can set the crossfader curves to either smooth/gradual (for mixing and blending) or to sharp for cutting/hip hop style mixing; the channel faders are pretty smooth. The EQs are the best part though - full kills on each band, and there's LED indicators on each band too, which is nice. I'm a big fan. I got mine on djdeals for $300, I think.
does anyone know the track that is playing?
