New Psytrance mix: Forever goa (XP for Example FM)[Melodic and fast Psy]

Forever goa was actually made first out of my most recent mixes. However I decided to extend it after Zebra into a full 2 hour piece. This mix is all about melody and emotion. If anyone wants me to upload any of the mixes into 2 (1 79 minute and another the rest of the piece) files for burning onto cd just drop me a comment on my last fm page.

I would really like to listen to these sets and leave you some comments, but i honestly do not have the patience to download it from piratebay with 2 seeders. If you upload them to some other place, I'll love to share my view on them.

You started off with all the fast, high energy stuff, and then the emotional in the middle. Imo you swing too much between fast and more chillout/emotional tracks, which i dont really like in psytrance sets, it makes it sound too diverse and as if the tracks were just played 1by1. Track 1-4/5 are pretty good, and the same style, but there's too many breaks which ruins it.

The part at 26:44-27:02 really ruined my ears, i had to turn it down all the way. I dont know if it's just my headphones but welcome to planet Tinnitus i say. Transition from track 6-7 sounds really wrong imo. There are some really good tracks in there, but you need to put them in the correct places.

It might sound like alot of critique, but i thought you should hear what i think about it.

Yeh I'm defenitly gonna try and make an attempt to maybe have a few more tracks in a row before changing mood. I think I defenitly prefer dance2goa trance and the second half of this mix myself though (up to track 7 I made a while ago and then extended it)... I still don't like doing all full on or all chillout mixes though.

BTW I didnt accidentally upload the not extended mix did I? The full one goes for like 1:50

Nah it was the right one. Thing is, you kinda gotta build it up so people wont really notice it. For example, it wont work if you just played The Delta or 1200 Mics - Mescaline, and then went into Sphongle or some chillout psy. You can still make a set, especially when it's 2 hours, that goes back and forth abit. I dont think i would want to listen to a 2hour set with full on, banging psy either :P.

That mescaline trk is poorest out of the whole mix ..

I've never liked that trk far too cheesy .. even though i like some of 1200mics material that is just brutal .
