its summer

and I think its time for AVB to come back to eleven50 (opera).

Posted by Ted Promo on Jun-17-2007 05:05:

I would not expect it any time soon since he was just here the other month. Wishful thinking.

Posted by ZeeRobot1 on Jun-19-2007 03:10:

ahhh but last summer when he came was my first show and the best one of my life.

Posted by iammesol on Jun-19-2007 06:27:

It's summer and we need summery house.

Posted by AlokGT on Jun-19-2007 12:32:

+ 1 million

i've been listening to a lot of 'summery house' and some old Live on Brighton beach by Fatboy.

ohhhh yurrrrr

Posted by Ted Promo on Jun-20-2007 01:52:

yessir. We need house. Fucking trance headliners have been the main thing pardoning Zabs & Fanciulli for the past three or four months it seems. Oh, I guess Digweed was in there too, but that was a while back.

Wouldn't mind seeing Cox, Boratto, Gerber, Prydz, Fair, Masiello, hell, if we could spring for some techno too, like Hawtin. When was the last time Hawtin was here? That show would be fucking amazing.

Posted by iammesol on Jun-20-2007 02:32:

Liquified brought Hawtin a while back and lost tons of money. With that said... I'd love to go to his show

Posted by ZeeRobot1 on Jun-20-2007 03:38:

PRYDZ

armed is such a hot track.

I guess the Atlanta scene is harsh when it comes to techno. I've never seen a true techno/minimal dj play here in the longest (people can say Cox is techno, but he's more house I'd say these days). Gimme a good techno/minimal dj and I'm sooooo there.

I'm feeling house too. Enough of this trance shit unless we bring in a new trance act. Too much Armin/PvD/Ferry/Tiesto being recycled.

Posted by Ted Promo on Jun-20-2007 03:51:

DANNY HOWELLS AND/OR LEE BURRIDGE

ok, yeah, I'll keep a list going.

Posted by iammesol on Jun-20-2007 03:58:

Sander van Doorn is the only new trance guy I think we need to bring. As far as house goes... hell, bring anyone summery

Posted by AlokGT on Jun-20-2007 12:13:

bring Jay-J + Dimitri from Paris

Posted by SlackerBoy9 on Jun-20-2007 12:37:

Tom Middleton would be freakin sweet,he plays house, electro, leftfield and breaks.

Posted by DiscoStew on Jun-20-2007 14:20:

I understand and can appreciate the need to bring in big names for Liquified to make money. That being said, one of the more popular house DJ's like Robbie Rivera would be good, IMHO. I say him because he's probably cheaper than anyone in the Swedish house mafia but still always draw a big crowd. (Definitely not my favorite house DJ, but he would be a good way to get a decent house DJ and still make money.)

shhh you guys know prydz is the only answer and cure to this problem

If Devin can pull that off, he will be my all-time hero.
