Went to a restaurant. I was DARED that I couldn't finish all my food. but I did! so i won.

eaten:
about 50 chili cheese fries
a salad with ranch dressing
about 30 french fries with salt
a rack of baby back ribs
3 glasses of unsweet tea

why in the fuck would you get unsweet tea? you live in georgia. which raises the question, why in the hell does georgia serve unsweet tea? and dont give me that shit about it being for diabetics, because there is a law in the south that the tea must be sweet. if you are diabetic part of your punishment is not being able to drink tea anymore. maybe you should have thought of that before being born with a predisposition to a disease that fucks up your sugar levels.

I don't sweeten my tea either. But I add milk.

But you live in australia. Your toilets don't even flush the right way, how can we expect you to know how to drink tea?

Oh please. Australia is still a part of the British empire! That's right, Britain! And tea and Britain go together like the intarweb and cat pictures!

Don't you dare tell me I don't know about tea

Posted by DJ Chrono on Jun-17-2007 04:33:

I never understood why there's even a choice in the US to get sweetend or unsweetend tea..

i put steak in my sweetened tea, and then promptly toss it into the trash along with a $20 bill and a stack of blank paper.

I went to hometown buffet today.
Slice of ham.
corn on the cob
orange chicken
mashed potatoes
fish fillet
these things that looked like Chicken McNuggets
2 glasses of coke

note bad for $7.50

British people don't know shit about iced tea. You can have as many tea time circle jerks as you want, but you will never know about the miracle that is iced tea. And australia got started by people who got kicked the fuck out of britain for not drinking their tea the right way anyway.

My bags are packed for the States already. Which way to the fatties? Man I can't wait to get my hands on all that greasy food. Americans are the fattest people on earth says the statistics. I gotta see this for myself.

Posted by tubularbills on Jun-17-2007 04:57:

only difference between what you did and what someone in say, france, would do is that you didn't throw up afterwards

ps, i love overeating like that. mainly because my metabolism is high enough that i don't gain any weight. and i love it.

Not once in this thread, before DJ Chrono's post, was the tea topic specified to be iced tea.

Tea is fucking tea: Boiled wated, tea leaves or tea bag etc.

Iced Tea is fucking Iced Tea, and should be specified as such

Of course I don't put milk in iced tea. But I'm happy to drink it sweetened or unsweetened.

Posted by mezzir on Jun-17-2007 05:29:

really good iced tea shouldn't be tainted by sugar. it should be left as, it's delicious

however, mediocre iced tea and the like should be sweetened, but don't be fooled. this is only done because without sugar you'll see its not any good

unsweetened > sweetened

Posted by Slylee on Jun-17-2007 05:32:

no way dude....

good old fashioned southern sweet tea > unsweetened tea

I'm curious: Please cast your vote here: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=422410

I prefer unsweet tea. I drink about 2-4L of it per day.

iced unsweet tea.

anyway nah, if someone specifies whether their tea is "unsweet tea" or "sweet tea" it's assumed that its iced. if they just say tea it could be either.

Posted by RandomGirl on Jun-17-2007 06:36:

In Canada... when you ask for iced tea, you only have the option of the sweetened kind.

You want cold unsweetened tea? Ask for cold water with a tea bag. Which NO ONE ever EVER does.

Weird Americans.

P.S. American iced tea tastes like shit anyway.

Posted by Sunsnail on Jun-17-2007 06:39:

Ehh... iced tea is made from boiling water and then cooling it down with ice... cold water and a tea bag will get you no where

Yeah, it drives me fucking crazy (I'm a transplant). A few of the fancier placies have it, but otherwise, no.

so canadians only sweeten iced tea, but americans have shitty tea.

cold water and a tea bag? thats just plain dumb. try cold water, a jug and multiple tea bags, leave it in the sun to warm, delicious iced tea once cooled.

yeah and the US is full of idiots. CA only has sweetened iced tea, canada rocks, or doesnt.

proper iced tea never needs sweetener|
