Tea vs. Iced Tea

So, based on Sunsnail's thread that has now been hijacked into a discussion on tea, I would like to know:

When you hear the word 'Tea' do you automatically think of tea, or of iced tea? Cast your vote here:

If you only half fill the cup then you can have twice as much!

Well, I mix them together to create room temperature tea.

Yes, room temperature tea.

+1

I didn't even know iced tea existed till I moved here. My whole life I drank hot Moroccan mint tea every day. It's delicious, and it's good for you.

*looks out*

Ah yes.. It's 105F with 100% humidity. Boy I'm hot! Let's see what I can drink to cool me down...

*looks in the kitchen*

I could have this iced tea... or I could drink boiling water...

HMMMMM

I've always thought of tea as a remedy, because I usually drink tea when I've got a stomach ache or something.

? Where in America do you live?

Posted by Zoso on Jun-17-2007 12:36:

Hot green tea FTW, please. If I am forced to drink iced tea, however, I prefer unsweetened. I should probably be run out of the South for such heresy.

Posted by Lilith on Jun-17-2007 12:56:

Green or White/pale tea's, no sugar, hot water
Black tea, sugar, hot water and maybe a dash of milk

Iced tea, something Americans do for some ungodly reason.

Posted by Omega_M on Jun-17-2007 13:38:

tea = chai = boiling water + tea leaves + sugar + milk, regardless of outside temperature.
