Could someone ID this bug for me, please?

It looks very cool - it's green and ultra-fast, and is flying around my sound system. I live in a savannah in the Brazilian Highlands, if that helps:

What kind of insect is this? His name is Kendy, by the way.

i dont mind weekends like that though...saves me money.
