flagship party of the summer!! straight up insanity..
much love Dave
So much fun, so much love, and the tunes!!!!!!
Dave, inspriration xox
!!
Amazing surprises, I was like a kid on xmas morning when I saw Addy come on. And then Tommie Sunshine too? lol WTF!! Very well planned out surprises, wow.
It was an honour and a pleasure to play D2DB2 and represent TA. Some huge highlights for me were:
Getting to play the very first tune of the night amongst that ridiculous roster of DJ's. (octave one - blackwater)
The back of Dave's shirt, very inspiring
Val's speech/dedication to his father and Dave's mom.
Jennypie kicking me in the balls so hard I almost cried lol
 the tunes, holy fuck!
 the cake AKA dinner lol
Seeing Pett's face when Tommie Sunshine came on bahahah
Crazy love at this party, nice to see our scene band together the way it did last night...

dt2b ended up being one of the best parties i have ever been to! my friends and i had a blast. the music, crowd, vibe, weather was all perfect. such an amazing night. tommie sunshine was insane! ahhh i cant wait till next yrs event!
I was touched to see how packed FW was at 10...a lot smiling faces (a lot of familiar faces <3), all moving their bodies and hearts out to the music...
I almost cried at one point...effin' unbelievable how much love there was in that place last night...and rightly so...
and the tunes were...
<3
I haven't been out much lately but, I had many people (those who lost the battle, and those who are still fighting) to dance for last night...my only regret was that I should've stayed longer...
Great to see Addy!!!
After two days at the beach and battling through the hordes of teenyboppers on queen west, reaching the air conditioned environment of Footwork around 8:30 last night was quite welcoming.
Such a solid roster of local talent including Jon Jon, Vinyljunkies, The Roaches (Carlo Lio & Nathan Barato), Joee Cons and a SOLID cameo by Addy (he seriously rocked it!).
The place was busy and bumpin' along nicely by 11 (which felt a little weird given that it was a sunday night), and the reaction from the crowd when none other than TOMMIE MUTHAFUNKIN' SUNSHINE stepped up shortly after midnight was priceless! He then laid down an almost 3 hour set of his signature surftechfunkglamish sound, and a big thanks to Joel and Steph for lettin' me run the lights for his set...what a view it was from up there!
A great event for a great cause, and awesome to see so many positive faces

good times
Everyone was fkn amazing last night. You could tell the beats were coming straight from DJs' souls.
much love <3
Wish I was feeling better to last till later, but I wasn't gonna be able to hold my cookies if I stayed any longer.
Its a good feeling to only party for an hour and not feel upset for paying cover
(Drink prices were very reasonable as well!)
Yeah for real, Tommie Sunshine was awesome. That's the kind of acidic electro I can get down to! Omg! There were a few sluggish moments, but overall I was pretty impressed. I especially loved the deep grooves he combined it with. Fucking sick.
I didn't know what he looked like before last night...I thought he was some other dude whose name still escapes me.
edit: Raja Ram! That's who I was thinking of, lol. Wayyy off, this guy spins psy-trance (in fact, I think he was one of the originators).

Anyway, really fun night. Always a pleasure to see everyone. Sorry again Jon, lol. For some reason I get physically violent when I get excited. If it makes any difference I meant to hit just your penis, lol.
Kris and Mike, you two really are so nice!! Very very nice to meet and chat!
Dave, you rock dude. Thanks for this.
My inspiration = Life!!
Aw shit Jon, you played Blackwater and I missed it?? Fuck. Now I'm glad I kicked you in the nuts.

I had a great time! So many friends were there that it was very overwhelming the whole night. Didn't have enough time to hang and chat with everyone sadly, but I tried :/ Too much going on everywhere! Spent more time outside chatting and goofing around than dancing. When I was dancing the tunes were top notch. Even enjoyed some parts of Addy's set. Tommie Sunshine...wow! The techno he was dropping was exactly what I needed. Some top level shit going on, lol.
I had a great time. It's been absolutely ages since I've seen most of you and as always, had a good time catching up and just chitchatting. Outside of Nathan's superb set and Tommie Sunshines dirty tunes (but horrible programming), the music was alright.
Hopefully I'll see everyone again sometime soon.
