Holy**** am I burned...

Went to the beach yesterday with my nephew - 10am to 330pm - Im burnt to a fuckin crisp. My nipples feel like diamond cutters. My skin feels like flames. I couldnt go to work because of it - I dont think Id last 2 mins outside without breaking out in tears.

do you realize that the sun is harshest from around 11am to 3pm in the day, when it is at a direct 90 degree angle over your head? Spending that whole period of time under out without sunscreen ... what do they teach you guys in med school?

Your point? Clearly it wasnt an accident that I was at the beach at that time.

The issue was, I had to keep an eye on my nephew the whole time, so when I knew it was time to flip, I couldnt.

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of some shocking news. At around 5pm this afternoon a serious fire broke out at our flagship venue Gatecrasher One in Sheffield. At this moment in time there is little more to add other than that we will keep you posted with updates as developments arise. Rest assured, this will not keep us down; a phoenix will rise from the ashes...

I guess according to Vlad, sunscreens old school. Next time drop yourself in a pot of hot oil. I've had the odd time I fucked up with sunburns and it makes you wonder what the poor soul who's been burned in a fire. Now that must be shear pain and even a bad sunburn would never come close.

Posted by Sunsnail on Jun-18-2007 23:41:

I got burned badly when I was about 8 years old. Probably about as red as this
