Kobe is a *******: "Get a Bulls uniform fellas." - Kobe

Some background information for those of you unfamiliar with the situation: it's been rumored for a few days that there's a Koke a video that a couple of guys shot in which he badmouths the Lakers organization and Andrew Bynum. Well it's finally been confirmed that it's real and it should be relased soon. Right now the people with the video are trying to get some money out of it but insist it will be released soon. Once it does, it'll start appearing on ESPN. Here's a couple of now known quotes from the video:





While the conversation was purported to have lasted approximately 15 minutes, the video is brief. It was taken with a digital camera and leaves no doubt that it is in fact Bryant.

Interspersed with numerous cuss words, Bryant discusses the Lakers' decision not to trade Andrew Bynum to the New Jersey Nets at the trade deadline in February.

"Ship his [rear end] out. We're talking Jason Kidd," said Bryant. "They didn't want to do that. That's why we're in this [messed up] position."

The footage was shot in early June, close to the date when Bryant went on numerous radio stations to express his unhappiness in the team's direction . . . and ultimately demand a trade.

In addition to the video the group has an audio clip captured on a cell phone on June 10th.

Bryant is approached with the query, "Please tell us you're staying!"

His response: "Get a [Chicago] Bulls uniform fellas."

I would love to see Kobe in Chicago. It would give me a reason to go watch a Bulls game.

How about paying $30 million for Jerome James, who in his best season averaged 4 points and 3 rebounds per game.

The Knicks are one of the worst teams in the league with a $125 million payroll.

$55 million for Eddy Curry, who has an irregular heartbeat and is uninsurable by the NBA.

larry brown fuck this team up the most, isiah was backing him up for whatever larry asked for, like getting francis, which was his biggest mistake. other than that i dont see why you would think that. he is a very good drafter, lee who can average 13 10 in 25-27 mins and balkman who is a monster and can change a course of the game in minutes. knicks are rebuiding and i think isiah is the right guy to do it

As a Toronto Raptors fan, I concur.

i have to concur about isiah thomas. he ran down the toronto raptors, the cba, and the new york knicks. he couldn't bring out the best in probably one of the best benches in the 2000 decade (indiana pacers). his managerial skills isn't really that great. however, one thing he does know how to do, as other new yorkers know, is scout. he knew david lee, mardy collins, and trevor arize were good players. also, the eddy curry experiment is going pretty well, after his results from this year. the problem with curry and chandler(monster year in new orleans/oklahoma city) was that they were in the wrong environment in chicago. they're much happier now.

Fuuuck. If Kobe ends up with the Bulls, it's all over.


Who really gives a shit about this video? I'm sure he doesn't, and neither do the people who know what he's trying to do, laker fans or not.

the transition from this season to next season for the knicks will be strange. after this year, including allan houston, they released 6 expiring contracts, letting go $52 million. they drop from $139 to $87 million payroll. that's the good news. the bad news is the knicks are stuck with marbury and francis until 2009, unless someone else wants to pick up the tab for the knicks($20 and $18 million respectively)

Prediction: If Kobe goes to Chicago, Kevin Garnett will end up in LA.
